Jubilee Celebrations – India

On 15th August 2025, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary, the Province of India rejoiced in a twofold celebration:
• The gratitude of a nation marking the 79th anniversary of Independence, and
• The thanksgiving for God’s unfailing goodness in the lives of our Jubilarians.

On this occasion, we had the joy and privilege of honouring the following Sisters for their years of faithful religious consecration:
• Sr. M. Ausilia Monteiro – 65 years
• Sr. M. Angela Karukaparambil, Sr. M. Clelia Parathazham, and Sr. M. Lilian Roche – 60 years
• Sr. M. Michael Chittattuvadakel, Sr. M. Miriam Gonsalves, and Sr. M. Romana Pulichumavil – 50 years
• Sr. M. Manjula Dungdung, Sr. M. Sangeeta Paskya, Sr. M. Gincy Thekkanath, and Sr. M. Cicily Vadakkedath – 25 years

The solemn Eucharist was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Arokiyaraj Satis Kumar, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bangalore, and concelebrated by priests from the Society of St. Paul along with other clergy.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence of the Jubilarians’ family members, members of the Pauline Family, PDDM Sisters from neighbouring communities, friends, and well-wishers.

Following the Eucharist, the Jubilarians were lovingly felicitated. As we invoke God’s blessings upon them, we pray that—like Mary, our Mother—they may continue to seek God’s will and walk faithfully in the footsteps of the Divine Master through silent adoration, apostolic dedication, and daily self-giving.
