The Superiors and the Provincial Team had their Annual Retreat from 6th to 11th July 2025 at the Benedictine Monastery, Asirvanam, Kengeri. The retreat was preached by Rev. Fr. Bineesh Thomas, Director of the Dominican Retreat House. It was a time of stepping away from daily routines to enter into deeper communion with God.
Retreat is truly a sacred time to meet the Lord and rediscover ourselves in His presence. Throughout the week, the preacher led the participants into a profound encounter with Jesus through his insightful interpretation of Sacred Scripture and heartfelt personal faith sharing. His reflections, centered on the call to holiness, challenged us to live our daily responsibilities with greater awareness, intentionality, and love.
On 12th July, the Birthday of Mother Scholastica, the Superiors had a day of refreshing and renewal at Christ University Campus, which began with few group games and a session on Administrative Skills by Mr. Glady Jacob, Administrator of the University. This was followed by a session on Leadership Skills on 13th July, conducted by Sr. Prashanth Madtha, SJ, a renowned writer and psychologist. The day continued with a SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), enabling the participants to explore and reflect on the dynamics of each community.
The meeting concluded on 14th July with a meaningful celebration titled “The Jubilee of Governments: A Call for Unity and Stewardship”, marking the end of a grace-filled time of reflection, learning, and spiritual renewal.
