Christmas Celebration and 20th DHA Batch Convocation

St. Joseph’s Community College

St. Joseph’s Community College joyfully celebrated its Christmas programme along with the Convocation Ceremony of the 20th DHA Batch, marking an important milestone in the academic and spiritual journey of the students.

The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Rt. Rev. Bishop Telespore Bilung of the Diocese of Jamshedpur, whose presence added special meaning to the celebration. Other distinguished guests, priests, religious sisters, staff members, parents, and well-wishers also joined in the joyful gathering.

The programme began in a prayerful spirit, preparing hearts to welcome the joy of Christmas and to thank God for the successful completion of the diploma course. The graduating students were felicitated, acknowledging their perseverance, growth, and commitment to learning for life.

In his address, Bishop Telespore Bilung appreciated the Management and Administration of the PDDM Sisters for their dedicated efforts in the holistic formation of young men and women. He commended the quality of education, well-organised programmes, and meaningful cultural performances, and encouraged the students to carry forward strong values with confidence and responsibility.

The celebration was enriched by vibrant cultural performances reflecting the true spirit of Christmas—love, joy, sharing, and gratitude. The event concluded with a sense of thanksgiving, fulfilment, and hope, sending forth the 20th DHA Batch with blessings for the future.
