Annual Retreat and Seminar – 2025

In the serene and prayerful atmosphere of the Benedictine Monastery at Asirvanam, 42 of us—young perpetually professed sisters and those in temporary vows came together for a deeply enriching spiritual journey comprising a three-day Group Counselling session and the Annual Retreat.
The sisters in temporary vows attended the Group Counselling sessions from 23rd to 25th May, followed by the young perpetually professed sisters from 2nd to 4th June. These sessions were guided by Sr. Gincy Thekanath and Sr. Rose Ngade, centered on the theme: Relationship with God, oneself, and others. Within a safe and respectful space, we shared our thoughts, feelings, and stories. It was a healing and eye-opening experience—fostering deeper self-awareness, trust, and mutual understanding. We learned to accept and love ourselves and others more fully, growing together in authenticity and grace.
The Annual Retreat, held from 26th to 31st May, was led by Fr. Sunoj, a Dominican priest. His spiritual depth and dynamic presence led us through six grace-filled days of reflection, inner healing, and renewal. His insights helped us reconnect with God in profound and personal ways.
We also enjoyed a day of outing—an opportunity to delight in God’s creation and in each other’s company. It was a day of laughter, bonding, and shared memories: simple joys that brought us closer as a community.
We are sincerely grateful to Sr. Celine D’Cunha, our Provincial Superior, and her team, as well as to all the communities who supported and made this experience possible.
