On the Solemnity of St. Paul, the Guru Yesu Bhavan community celebrated the Feast of the Association of Pauline Cooperators. Nine members participated in the Eucharistic celebration and five of them renewed their promise as Pauline Cooperators.
Fr. Kiran, SJ, the celebrant, reflected in his homily on the unique vocation and mission of the Pauline Cooperators in the light of the teachings of Blessed James Alberione. He explained that Pauline Cooperators, while faithfully living their Christian commitment in their families, workplaces, and society, actively share in the evangelizing mission of the Pauline Family. Through prayer, witness, apostolic service, and the responsible use and support of the means of social communication, they collaborate in bringing Jesus to the world and making the Gospel present in today’s culture.
After the homily, Ezekiel, Sheila, George, Anice, and Kumar renewed their Promise as Pauline Cooperators. Fr. Kiran encouraged them to remain steadfast in their Pauline vocation, drawing inspiration from St. Paul’s words: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). He invited them to become authentic witnesses of Christ, proclaiming the Gospel with zeal, creativity, and joy through every available means of communication.
