Jubilee is a milestone in one’s life. It is a time to look back and cherish the unfathomable love of God and the wonders he has worked in life. On 2nd February 2022, the world day of consecrated life, we the community of Santhome had the joy of celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Sr. Valsa along with the parish clergy and our sisters from St. Mary’s community and Vianney Home. It was a family celebration which filled our hearts with joy. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Arulraj Rector and Parish Priest of St. Thomas Basilica along with the Parish clergy in the Tomb of St. Thomas. The celebrant highlighted the Presentation of the Lord and beautifully merged the it with the life of Sr. Valsa. The presence of Sr. Celine our Provincial Superior added color to the celebration. The felicitation ceremony after the Holy Mass reminded us to celebrate life and create amazing memories. Sr. Valsa was honored both by our community and the Parish clergy. We also had the opportunity to felicitate Sr. Celine and the Parish clergy and acknowledged their presence in making our community a beautiful one. The cutting of the cake doubled our happiness and thus the ceremony concluded with the fellowship meal. May God continue to bless Sr. Valsa in all that she does and may we as a community proclaim Christ to all.
