SUMMER LITURGICAL MUSIC COURSE – 2017
31st Group of Summer Liturgical Music Course began on 20th March 2017, at PDDM Music Academy, Bangalore. 33 are the participants, composed of: 26 Major Seminarians, 4 Sisters including a Pious Disciple , 1 Priest and 2 Laities. During this course, following subjects are taught: Notions of Theory and Practical of Western Music, Instruments: Keyboard, Piano and Violin, Direction of the Choir, Liturgical Directives and, Learning of Liturgical Hymns. The course will end on 11th April, with the Eucharistic celebration, animated by the participants of the Course. Within the period of these 23 Days, the participants will be enabled to be the Animators of both, Liturgy and Music. At the end of the Course, a Certificate will be issued in the name of the ‘Society of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master’. Sr Mary Gracelet Pddm is the Resource Person, along with Sr Rose Ngade Pddm.
32nd group will begin soon after this Course and will end on 23rd April.
