The Trinity College of Music, London, recently celebrated “Trinity Day”, honouring teachers who have dedicated 10 or more years to training students for Trinity College examinations. The event took place on March 20, 2025 at the Holiday Inn, Mumbai International Airport. Our Sisters, Sr. Mary Gracelet Mudiappan and Sr M. Amita Mascarenhas, attended this celebration in Mumbai.
During the event, updates and guidelines were provided regarding both digital and face-to-face examinations. The celebration also featured performances by young, budding musicians on the piano, classical guitar, violin, and rock and pop genres, with expert musicians showcasing their talents.
We are proud to announce that among the many award recipients, our sisters, Sr. Mary Gracelet and Sr. Amita, who are actively engaged in the music ministry, were also honoured with a memento by the Trinity College of Music, London.
Ms. Anjali Mehta, the head of Trinity in India, presented the memento to Sr. Mary Gracelet in recognition of her long service, while Sr. Amita received hers from Mr. Anthony Gomes, a representative of Trinity College, Mumbai.
It was a thrilling moment for our sisters and a proud occasion for us at PDDM, INDIA, as our contributions to the field of music were recognized both nationally and internationally.
