The Pilgrim Cross is a profound religious symbol that unites dioceses, parishes, and believers in a shared pilgrimage, fostering unity and devotion among the faithful as it travels. In this Jubilee Year, declared by Pope Francis, it serves as a time of grace, renewal, and special indulgences.
The Cross is a symbol of Christ’s love and sacrifice, a sign of grace, mercy, hope, and victory. It stands as both a blessing and a mission. Receiving the Jubilee Cross at Guru Yesu Bhavan was a deeply spiritual experience for us. The Pilgrim Jubilee Cross remained with us from March 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM, until March 13, at 8:30 AM.
The night vigil with the Eucharistic Lord and the Pilgrim Cross, held under the cool of the night, provided a sacred space to deepen our faith and lift the world in prayerful intercession. Jesus on the Cross continues to challenge His disciples—especially the Sister Disciples in faith—to strive for holiness and service, with an unwavering commitment to God.
As the Pilgrim Jubilee Cross journeys, it becomes a beacon of faith, inviting all who encounter it into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church. We passed the Cross from Guru Yesu Bhavan to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, overwhelmed by the profound sense that Jesus was going to meet His Mother.
