SISTER DOCTORS FORUM OF INDIA – ST JOHN’S MEDICAL COLLEGE, BANGALORE
As the SISTER DOCTORS FORUM OF INDIA was celebrating their silver jubilee, from 26 – 28 January 2018, they had, three days of Seminars and updates on the medical tests, new medicines, new way of treatment and sharing of their lived experiences, as many of them were working in the remote parts of India. This forum is composed of Religious Sisters of various Congregations. 800 of them are life members of it.
The PDDM sisters of Bangalore were invited by this National Forum to animate the Liturgy for all the three days. Sr. Mary Gracelet speaks: “We were indeed privileged to carry out this Liturgical ministry to this august gathering of dedicated Doctors. We were, touched by their prayerfulness, simplicity and friendliness”. Sister Doctor Beena UMI, the president of the forum, voicing everyone present, thanked the Sisters and said, “Dear sisters, we felt that we were taken up to heaven. Truly we prayed and participated actively. Through your help we enjoyed every bit of the singing. All of us were enveloped with joy as you dear Sisters, were singing so melodiously. May God bless you all, your congregation and this beautiful ministry you do in the Church. Thank you dear Sisters”.
