From past 4 years, a great Parade, which is, similar to that of Delhi, had been organized at Bandra – Bandstand, Mumbai. Prarthanalaya of the PDDM Sisters had been chosen as the CENTRE for Hosting the Chief Guest. Due to this, the Community of Prarthanalaya, had a great role to play in the celebration. Since the house is on the Sea Front, the Sisters were asked to decorate the building with the Light, accordingly, they had lit the building with Serial lights. It was a wonderful sight and it created a festive atmosphere. The sisters had a joy of Hosting the Chief guest Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh AVSM,VSM, Chief of Staff, western level command, Guest of Honour : Ms. Saroja Sirisena, Counsul General of Sri Lanka and the VVIPs of Navy Force, Arm Force, MP Punam, Ashish shelar the BJP leader and many principals and important guests. Prarthanalya was blessed to have presence of so many who witnessed unity in Diversity.The Chief Guest appreciated the hospitality extended to him by the sisters and he also appreciated the Apostolic service rendered by the sisters to the humanity.
