Republic day is a very special day, to all the citizens of India. And this year, it was celebrated in a very grand scale in Bandra. the programme began with Flag Hoisting by Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar- Chief of staff Western Naval Command. After which he addressed the gathering, by bringing out the role each one has to play in shaping the future of the Nation. And the after a short Programme they came to Prarthanalaya for refreshments, we were indeed honoured to have the Dignitaries in our premises. The students from 23 schools along with the NCC coloured the occasion with their parade, which began with the horse riders, cyclists and thereafter the marchers, bands and finally the floats displaying the different culture of our Mother land. The entire celebration reminded the rich heritage which all the citizens share, rekindling the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of all and invited all the citizens to do something for our nation, so that it can shine forth in glory.
