Today the 7th February 2017, the Feast of St Gonsalo Garcia, the first Indian Saint, three of our Sisters in temporary vows, Sr. Fiyona Koprea, Sr. Lourdes Pereira and Sr. Jenipher Dominic renewed their profession at Prarthanalaya. The Holy Eucharist was presided by Rev. Msgr. Alex Rebello, Archdiocese of Mumbai currently working in the Diocese of Wales, United Kingdom who through his homily brought out the essence of discipleship. He highlighted that vocation is a gift and a mystery to be lived like a burning lamp that silently gives light to all. The vows were received by Sr. Amita Mascarenhas, Superior of the Community of Mumbai. We implore God’s blessings on them as they continue their formative journey.
