During the Homily, the Bishop highlighted very beautifully and meaningfully the theme of Discipleship, St Paul, Blessed James Alberione and our Mission towards the Priests. The Eucharistic celebration was animated by the PDDM.
The PDDM Indian Province have extended our ministry to the Retired Clergy of the Diocese of Mysore, on 30th June 2019, on the Solemnity of St Paul, the Patron of the Pauline Family. The Solemn Eucharistic Celebration, was presided over by the Bishop of Mysore Dr K.A. William and 15 more Priests, belonging to the Diocese of Mysore and that of the Clergy Home.Name of the Clergy Home is “PrashanthaNilaya” (A house of Peace).
After the Celebration, the Diocese had organized a moment of Felicitation to the “Satya Seva” Sisters, who had rendered their service for the past 25 years, to thank them and to Welcome the PDDM Sisters. Sr Rose Mary Muttasseril, the Provincial Superior was felicitated by the Bishop. Fr Leslie Moras, the V.G. of the Diocese gave a brief History of the Clergy Home and welcomed the Sisters. Sr Rose Mary Muttasseril, the Provincial Superior beautifully elaborated the Vocation and Mission of the PDDM, especially, that of the Priestly Service.
Members present for this Occasion were: Provincial Team, the Sisters of the PDDM Novitiate Community and the Sisters of the Mysore Clergy Home Community; Sr Gincy Thechenath, Sr Speranza Cornelio, Sr Savitha Ouseparampil. and Sr Estina Bavighar.
