The Provincial Superior of the Indian Province Sr. Rosemary Muttasseril, organised a pilgrimage to Italy for few Sisters from the Province as a part of ongoing formation with special reference to the Pauline Charism. There were fourteen sisters who participated in this pilgrimage accompanied by Sr. Angeline Dodti. It lasted from 15th April 2016 to 1st May 2016.
The Pilgrims were hosted by the community of Via Portunese, Italy. The pilgrim included the Holy Door of Mercy at St. Peter’s Bascillica, the audience with the Holy Father, various Cathedrals and Bascillicas at Vatican, places of Origin at Rome, Alba, Guarene, etc. The pilgrims joined the Charism students for the pilgrim and had the opportunity of being guided by the resource person of the Charism course, Sr. Maria Gracia DSP. Sr. Angeline Dodti, Sr. Jyothi Correa, Sr. P. Celine served as good translators.
The Pilgrims had the joy of visiting the Pioneers of Indian Province, Mother Dorothy, Mother Amata, Sr. Joseph Capra and Mother Theofana. They also had the joy of being hosted warmly by various communities such as General House, Provincial Community, Vatican Community and the Charism students.
The Pilgrims extend their sincere thanks to Sr. Rosemary Muttasseril, the Provincial Superior for organising such meaningful and formative pilgrimage to Italy. They express their heartfelt gratitude to Mother Regina Cesarato the Superior General, the Provincial Superior of the Italian Province and the various communities in Italy for their warm hospitality and joyful accompaniment. The Pilgrims were quite contended by the solid preparation organised by the province which included a Seminar on the Pilgrim by Sr. Valerian Parayamnilam.
