Founded on the 10th of February 1924, the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master have touched countless lives through the apostolate prayer and other ministries carried out over the past century.
We the sisters of the Prarthanalaya community, Mumbai were delighted to celebrate this joy of the Centenary on April 03, 2024, graced by the esteemed presence of Most Reverend Cardinal Oswald Gracias (Archbishop of Mumbai), who presided over the Holy Eucharist along with Pauline priests and other Priests of the Diocese. The presence of our Provincial Superior Sr Celine D Cunha, the members of the Pauline Family, the religious from neighboring convents, benefactors, friends, and the family members of our sisters enhanced our joy.
The event began with the celebration of the Holy Mass in thanksgiving for the 100 years of our existence as a Congregation in the Church and the Pauline Family. His Eminence, Cardinal Oswald Gracias spoke well about us and appreciated our presence in the Archdiocese of Mumbai and our mission of prayer and service to the priests.
There was a short program following the Holy Eucharist where the gathering was welcomed, the esteemed guests were felicitated and a musical documentary was performed depicting the mission and apostolate of the Sister Disciples.The celebration ended with a fellowship meal enjoyed by all.
We are grateful to the Lord for the grace-filled experience and the help of our sisters, friends, and benefactors who worked to make this event meaningful and memorable.
