The chapel was adorned with lively decorations placing the LOGO right before the altar, echoing the occasion’s spirit. The Holy Eucharist began with an introduction that set the tone for the day’s event expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the growth and success of our congregation.
The Centenary Jubilee Eucharist was presided over by Most Rev. John Moolachira the Archbishop of Guwahati, and concelebrated by the priests from SSP, the religious and the diocesan priests from nearby communities. On this auspicious day many religious sisters and lay faithful from the Parish joined us to thank the Lord for the 100 years of our service to the Church.
After the Holy Eucharist, the guests were welcomed with a dance to the hall. One of the highlights of the centenary celebration was the projection of a video clip presenting the charism and the mission of sister disciples of the divine master which was so effective that many were in awe, appreciation, and high esteem for our founder in giving us such a wonderful charism. “To live and give Jesus to the world as the Way, the Truth, and the Life”.
In honor of this great milestone, the dignitaries were facilitated with a Centenary memento. After that, the meal was graced and everyone celebrated by greeting each other.
The centenary celebration not only honored the past but also celebrated the present and looks forward to the future.
