On 24 March,2016, the community of Guru Yesu Bhavan , celebrated the Holy Thursday solemnly. During the morning prayer, the Institution of the Holy Eucharist, Priesthood and the Commandment of Love were highlighted. After which, the Transmission of the “Itinerary in preparation for the 9th General Chapter took place. Symbolizing the theme of the 9th General Chapter ‘NEW WINE IN NEW WINE SKINS ‘, Sr.Rose Mary, the Provincial Superior of the Indian Province poured the New Wine into a New Crystal Jar, while the Scripture passage that speaks about the theme selected for the 9th General Chapter was read (Lk. 5:38).
After having invoked the Spirit of God, the Provincial Superior handed over the ‘Itinerary’ to the community members. The moment of prayer was concluded with the breaking of the Unleavened Bread by the Provincial and the Local Superior Sr.Valerian and shared among the sisters.
