With gratitude to almighty God, we the community of Mangalore celebrated the centenary of our Congregation on 25th May, 2024. We thank God for all the blessings and graces showered upon our Congregation and the Community.
On this joyful occasion, the Bishop of Mangalore Rev Dr. Peter Paul Saldhana presided over the Eucharist. We were also delighted to have our Parish Priest Rev Fr. Andrew Leo D Souza and some of the religious and diocesan priests join us in the concelebration. The bishop preached an insightful homily and appreciated the Vocation of the Sister Disciples in the church.
We are grateful to our Provincial Superior Sr M. Celine D’Cunha whose presence doubled our joy and was a moment of immense blessings to the community. The celebration was enhanced with the company of the Daughters of St. Paul, neighbouring Religious communities, friends, benefactors, well-wishers, and our Family members. It was a great occasion to make known our Congregation and its Mission.
On this day our hearts are filled with a deep sense of gratitude to our beloved founder Bl. James Alberione, Mother Scholastica, and all our pioneer missionaries for their foresight and vision. We pray for the grace to walk in their footsteps.
