Kohima, PDDM Centenary Celebration at Mount Tabor Retreat House

With a deep sense of thanksgiving to the Divine Master for his gracious accompaniment in these 100 years of our existence in the Church, Pauline Family, for humanity, we the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master at Kohima had a thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration on May 4, 2024, at Mount Tabor Retreat House presided over by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, Nagaland, along with Rev. Fr. Jacob Charalel the Chancellor of the Diocese, Diocesan and Religious Priests. The presence of religious from neighboring convents, benefactors, friends, and the family members of our sisters enhanced our joy. His grace Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil spoke well about us and appreciated our presence for 44 years in the Diocese of Kohima and our mission of prayer and service to the People of God and Mount Tabor Retreat House.

The significant point to note is that the bishop said, “Mount Tabor is the Power House of Prayer and because the Sister Disciples began the Perpetual Adoration in the Diocese of Kohima, we experienced immense graces and blessings in all our activities. After the Mass, we presented a short video clip of the Charism and Mission of our Congregation and everyone was in awe of seeing the amazing ministries we do in different forms in the Church and for humanity. The felicitation of dignitaries and invitees with Centenary mementos was also well appreciated and each one thanked the community for our selfless and dedicated service.

As the Divine Master continues to touch and bless the lives of his people through our mission and ministries, we the women of the gospel, in the footsteps of Jesus our Divine Master, re-dedicate ourselves to carry forward the dream of our Founder to the new century of grace and blessings, in radical openness and loving generosity.
