Fr Arun Luis S.J presided over the Eucharist along with six other con-celebrants.
As we the sisters of India, celebrate and rejoice with these sisters for the Faithfulness of God, the sisters from the communities of Clergy Home- Bangalore, Asirbhavan- Bannerghatta, Prashantha Nilaya- Mysore and Orsola Bhavan- Mysore joined us.
Commenting on the readings of the 24th Sunday, Fr Jossy S.J spelled out the four characters from there namely: Isaiah, James, Peter and Jesus. The questions posed to them were: Have you discovered who Jesus is for you? Are you able to proclaim like Peter your personal discovery of Jesus? Do you have courage to rebuke someone who is very close to you, if they are not helping you to do God’s will? When everything goes well it is easy to praise God, but to be like Isaiah to be able to say God is my help when things go bad we need to develop a deep union with God. The longer the journey in religious life the more good works will express our Faith.
After the Eucharistic celebration, a felicitation program was organised in which a short video was also shown, specially prepared, with photographic documentation of the various stages of the journey of the Jubilarians and with the greetings of the Provincial Superior, and Superior General Sr M. Michaela Moneti
Continuing to thank the Lord for the witness of these sisters, we hope that their perseverance in joy will become a magnet for many young people in following Jesus Master.
