On 26, November 2021, as we celebrate the 50th heavenly birthday of our beloved Founder Bl. James Alberione, the Pauline Family brought to its closure the journey of Biblical Year which began on26, November 2020. The Biblical year was indeed a grace-filled year for all the Pauline members who feasted on the Word of God. The various programs arranged so meticulously by the organizing committee throughout the year brought real joy in rediscovering anew the numerous facets of life-giving God’s Word, sharing and living it in our daily lives.
With immense love and gratitude to God, we ended this journey of Biblical Year by solemn evening prayer, honouring the Book of the Gospel with flowers and lighted lamps. Each of the community members venerated the Book of the Gospels and received a phrase from the Word of God to make it a lamp for one’s steps. The closing ceremony reminded us to open our Bibles to dive more deeply into the ocean of God’s Word to savour its richness. As Disciples of the new evangelization, our unceasing prayers be “That the word of the Lord may speed forward” to the ends of the earth.
May our Founder Bl. James Alberione, the untiring Apostle of the Word, intercede for us to be living and active communicators of the Divine Word.
