Feast of Jesus Master- Mysore

img_3821-800x600The spirit of celebration of the feast of Jesus Master was doubled and vibrated by the presence of the religious from various communities. It took its crown through the presence of Most Rev. Bishop Thomas Antony Vazapilly, Bishop of Mysore. The atmosphere of joy and serenity took its air. Bishop in his precise homily garlanded the occasion. He mentioned that Jesus came as a Master, who teaches us the Way, the Truth and the Life. He appreciated the vision of our founder James Alberione, the modern Apostle who according to the sign of the time took media for evangelization. The Apostolate of the Pious Disciple is a gracious and fruitful apostolate most of all a fortunate one as one is before the Blessed Sacrament. It is a power house in the diocese. This thought of Bishop was really a message to ponder and renew the vigour of our apostolate. The celebration of the Eucharist was thus communed with much joy, love and gratitude. We had a short program which was themed according to the Jubilee year of Mercy; especially the skit on the ‘Narrow Gate’. All were glad to be part of this programme while congratulating and thanking us of this meaningful programme. Thus this awaited festivity took its end with a banquet of love. We thank Jesus our Master who accompanied us.
