On 25 July 2021, on the Feast of St James, which is also the Feast Day of our Beloved Founder, three of our pre-postulants namely Jasmita Ekka, Veronica Wilfred and Majajeiliu Malangmai (Marina) have taken their first bold step in religious life by willingly entering into the Postulancy in our community at Calicut.
The three days retreat, in preparation for entrance into postulancy, was guided by Sr M. Valerian Parayamnilam. She led them gently and sweetly on the first day, to reflect on the call of God, on the second day on the implications of one’s response to God’s call and on the third day on the cost of Discipleship. It helped them to reflect on the Word of God, strengthen their faith and deepen their motivation to follow the Lord more closely and wholeheartedly.
Sr M. Josephine Rodrigues the Counsellor for formation was present on this occasion.
Sr M. Alphonsa Kandankeril the Postulant Mistress, Sr M. Nirmala Chovvattukunnel the community Superior and the community sisters made this day memorable for our Postulants creating an environment of Joy and celebration.
