GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION
On September
8th 2015, Sr. Angela Karukaparambil, Sr. Apostolina Mezhukanal, Sr. Celia Parathazaham, Sr. Gesualda Njarakat, Sr.Lilian Roche, celebrated their golden jubilee of their religious profession. The day began with a solemn morning prayer which highlighted the birthday of our Blessed Mother, Name of Mary of the sisters and the golden jubilee of the sisters. At 10:30 am we had the solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Bobbin Thomas, a Camillian priest (MI). The celebration of the Holy Eucharist began with the entrance dance done by the candidates. Rev. Bobbin, in his homily highlighted the meaning, purpose and mission of each one’s life in this world; connecting everything with the life of Mary. Soon after the Holy Eucharist, the jubilarians were felicitated by the Provincial superior, Sr. Rosemary, the superior Sr. Valerian, the community members of Guru Yesu Bhavan, and the nearby PDDM communities. The day was concluded with the cultural programme conducted by the sisters and candidates of Guru Yesu Bhavan.
