On 19 April, 2017 at 6:20 p.m., the newly built Sisters’ Residence was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Sebasti.L.Raj SJ, the Provincial Superior of Madurai Province at Dindigul-Tamil Nadu. The house is situated within the campus of Beschi Illam, where our PDDM sisters are rendering their service to the sick and elderly priests of Jesuits.
The newly built house is named as ‘VALANAGAM’, after the name of St. Joseph. The inaugural ceremony began with a short prayer service, followed by unveiling of memorial stone. About hundred people participated both from the Jesuit communities, PDDM sisters of Dindigul community and the PDDM Provincial team.
During the inaugural function, Fr. Sebasti.L.Raj expressed his profound gratitude to the PDDM sisters for their valuable service. He also mentioned how the service of the sisters has brought better health and prolonged life . We thank the Provincial Superior and his team for giving the great gift of a house to us. We wish our sisters all the best and assure them our prayers and support for their fruitful ministry to the elderly and sick priests.
