On 8th February 2020, the Pddm Music Academy Celebrated its Annual Day.
The Chief Guest was Mr Paul Fernandez and the Guest of Honour was MrsVasantha Bastian. Both of them are Musicians and are involved very much with the activities of the Church.
Around 200 members participated in the celebration. There were students from the Academy, their Parents, Relatives, Friends and well-wishers. The Hall was filled to overflowing.
The celebration began with the Solemn Entrance procession by all the Students, Special Students who got 91 marks and above for their Music International Exams, Pddm Representatives and the Chief Guests.
On the Dias were: Mr Paul Fernandez, MrsVasantha, Sr Valerian Pddm, Sr Romana Pddm, the Secretary of the Provincial and Sr Mary Gracelet Pddm, the Director cum Teacher of the Pddm Music academy. All 5 were felicitated by the Students. Sr Valerian Parayamnilam Pddm, the Superior of the Guru Yesu Bhavan community welcomed the gathering .
The International Music Certificates were given out by the Chief Guests, the Trophies were given to all the Students by Sr Valerian and Sr Romana and the Liturgical Music certificates were given out by Sr Mary Gracelet. There was a Talent Show by different students on Singing, Playing the Instruments and Dance. Students who celebrated their birthdays in the months of January, February and March were greeted with the Cake cutting and singing.
The hall was resounding with Joyful noise. The celebration ended with the refreshment for all.
