The Meeting for the Sisters assigned to the Liturgical Centres was held at Guru Yesu Bhavan, Bangalore on 17th and 18th of August. The resource persons were Sr. M. Regina Sebastian and Sr. M. Mabel Quadros. The inputs were timely and practical.
Sr. M. Regina Sebastian dealt with the various aspects of Efficient Functioning in the Liturgical Centres like – the Relationship between the Centrist and the Workshop, the Display, Customer Care etc… A particular emphasis was given to being a PRESENCE – a presence filled with Liturgical Knowledge and Spirit reflects the face of the Divine Master, the Congregation, promotes Sacred Worship and in a spirit of Evangelization gives Jesus to all those who come there. The group was provoked with questions and sharing which enriched each other.
Sr. M. Mabel Quadros shared her experience in the field of accounting and the importance of computerised accounting, GST (Goods and Service Taxes), documentation, inventory, budget and personal accountability. The group was guided to think in a new way to bring in more professionalism in the Liturgical Centres.
The meeting helped the participants to understand better the reality and the situation of the Liturgical Centres in different places. It equipped the members with skills needed to function efficiently and responsibly and to commit oneself fully by being precise, prudent, wise, and vigilant in all matters.
