7th February 2016, the Indian province proudly welcomed seven young Novices, Bibiana Thaipaoliko, Rimchi M. Marak, Anjana Toppo, Anita Lakra, Salima Kullu, Ujilseema Dung Dung, and Fiyona Malcom Koprea as professed members of the province. Amidst melodious singing, accompanied by a set of dances they entered the altar of God to surrender their entire life at the service of God and the Church.
The Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Anil D’Mello SJ the Rector of Jesuit Community and concelebrated by priests from Society of St. Paul and from the Diocese of Mysore and Meghalaya. In his homily Fr. Anil emphasized on the significance of Religious life and the beauty of Religious vows which free us from the worries of this world and to be the partakers of God’s Kingdom.
The presence of General Bursar Sr.M. Agar Coreno added special joy to the occasion. She, along with Provincial Superior Sr. Rose Mary Muttasseril received the vows of the newly professed and welcomed them to the province. The Family members, friends and well-wishers were present for the occasion. We wish them all the best for their ministry and pray that in all their undertakings they may find joy and fulfilment.
