Spirituality plays a fundamental role in the lives of religious persons, providing a deep sense of meaning, purpose, and connection to the divine. Prayer is being alive to God and being interconnected with the Divine. The Prayer book of an institute holds significant importance for any religious community. Because it provides a structured method to pray.
We the Sister Disciples, use the Pauline Prayer Book which contains many of the prayers written by the Founder himself. Using a common prayer book fosters a sense of unity as everyone participates in the same rituals and recitations.
Today, on the Solemnity of St Thomas the Apostle who sowed the seed of faith in the Indian soil, we are privileged to receive the Revised Pauline Prayer Book which contains the prayers that we use daily and the Pauline Liturgy.
Let us use this prayer book lavishly and generously, to become strong in faith, grow in spiritual life, and strive towards holiness.
Let it become “MY PRAYER BOOK”
