“In the presence of the Lord” March 4 – 6 2016.
We, the Sister Disciples, at Prarthanalayam PDDM Convent Calicut, India, organized “58 Hours before the Eucharistic Lord” as usual during this Lenten season and very especially in this Year of Mercy.
The solemn Eucharistic Adoration started on March 4, 2016, on First Friday of the month, after the Eucharistic Celebration, at 7.00 am, and concluded on Sunday 6.00 PM with the Eucharistic Celebration. The concluding Holy Hour and the Eucharistic Celebration was attended by many people of our Parish and also from the neighboring places.
Many lay people participated in this special moment of Grace during this year of Mercy as we assume a ministry of unceasing prayer, intercede for the needs of the humanity. On 4thand 5th of March the lay people from the Housing Colony joined the sisters in Night Adoration and prayed for the various needs of theirs as well as for others. During the day there was a continuous flow of people. Many experienced special graces from the Lord and expressed their gratitude to the Lord and us for organizing it. May the Lord bless us and may our presence become more vibrant in this city.
